Internationally Renowned Artist I Wayan Karja Exhibits in Hamburg and Berlin
After a long planning phase, we have succeeded in inviting our friend and colleague I Wayan Karja from Bali, Indonesia, to Germany. We have been enthusiastic collectors of his abstract paintings for a long time.
With his multi-layered application of paint, I Wayan Karja brings us closer to his own cosmos of Balinese colours and tonality – rhythm and concentration, the spirituality of the Hindu faith, influenced by the location of the Gunung Agung volcano and the upper, middle and lower worlds. He will be happy to talk about this.
From August 21 to 29, 2025, his exhibition will be on display in the 1. ETAGE rooms at bhd-cordts Bausicherung in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg.
